Science Club Cohort

The Science Club Cohort enables a broad range of companies to achieve carbon emissions reductions by removing barriers through accessible, credible, and technical insights.

What
Participants work together to leverage research and technical expertise to accelerate innovation, mutual learning, and implementation across industries. Outputs from this cohort equip teams with actionable tools, and translate complex sustainability data and insights into formats that drive real-world decision-making.

Who
Individuals who join Science Club have deep technical knowledge of their company’s broader decarbonization challenges, thorough understanding of greenhouse gas accounting and measurement, and are actively developing data-driven solutions to lower carbon emissions.

Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) Cohort

Recognizing that about half of Pledge signatories are Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs), this cohort provides structured, expert-supported programs to help SMEs build their decarbonization foundation and take meaningful action. SMEs make up almost 50% of The Pledge community.

What
The cohort works with SME signatories at different places in their sustainability journey to progress towards achieving net-zero by 2040. Activities include expert-led training, topical webinars, and specialized workshops to help participants address challenges SMEs commonly face on their decarbonization journeys.

Who

Representatives from SMEs signatories across maturity levels engage with the SME Cohort. It is designed for SMEs seeking to overcome resource constraints, gain practical support, and collaborate with peers to accelerate their progress towards net-zero by 2040.

Supply Chain Cohort

The Supply Chain Cohort targets value chain decarbonization opportunities that depend on collaboration within or between companies, and supports efforts to turn them into tangible emission reductions.

What
This cohort convenes signatories with peers and experts to collaboratively address decarbonization challenges and opportunities related to supply chain emissions.

Who
Individuals from sustainability, procurement, or other teams in signatory businesses that are working to reduce emissions across their value chain.
