Black Arrow Space Technologies is the only end-to-end commercial space launch ecosystem in Europe, developing spaceflight hardware and modern launch vehicles, and a unique seaborne spacefleet to deploy satellites to all orbits from any suitable location and jurisdiction on Earth. This opens the opportunities for non-space nations to co-ordinate launches of satellites from their home regions and benefit from the growth of the local or regional space economies. The adopted modus operandi provides a low-pollution and environmentally sustainable method of performing space launch with low inherent risk and high levels of safety and security. Reusable vehicles and cleaner propellants reduce the pollution associated with similar operations from land-based spaceports and improve sustainability. The need for purpose-built spaceports in coastal areas or protected land sites is therefore removed. The Company plans to reduce all hazardous emissions and impacts by 2040.
